1. Who we are
Valety is a digital product operated by a sole trader based in Ukraine. In these terms, "Valety", "we", "our", and "us" refer to the operator of the Valety platform and related services.
If you have any questions about these terms, contact us at support@valety.app.
2. What Valety provides
Valety is a subscription-based software product for journaling, storytelling, memory organization, AI-assisted interviews, AI chat, and related digital content tools. We may also offer one-time credit packs for usage within the platform.
Features may evolve over time. We may add, improve, replace, or discontinue specific features so long as the overall service remains materially consistent with the plan you purchased or any changes are otherwise permitted by law.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that takes place through your account unless caused by our own failure to secure the service.
You may not use Valety for unlawful activity, unauthorized access attempts, abuse of AI systems, harmful automation, infringement of others' rights, or storage or distribution of content that violates applicable law.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Paid plans may renew automatically on a recurring basis until canceled. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for the recurring fees, taxes, and any applicable adjustments disclosed at checkout.
You can cancel renewal at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless a different outcome is required by law or expressly offered by us in writing.
In some checkout flows, payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider or merchant of record. In those cases, the provider's payment terms, tax handling, and buyer protection processes may apply in addition to these terms.
5. Credit packs and in-app credits
We may sell one-time credit packs for use within Valety. Credits are digital usage units that can be redeemed for in-app functionality. Credits are not bank deposits, stored value, or cash equivalents, and they have no value outside the Valety platform unless we expressly state otherwise.
Credits may be consumed as you use paid features. Once credits are redeemed for a feature or service inside Valety, that portion is considered used.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Our current refund rules are described in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
In general, subscriptions can be canceled anytime for the next renewal cycle, and refunds are limited once paid features or credits have been materially used, except where required by law.
7. User content and AI output
You retain ownership of the stories, journal entries, uploads, prompts, and other content you submit to Valety. You grant us a limited license to host, process, secure, back up, and display that content only as needed to provide and improve the service for you.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or stylistically imperfect. They are provided for creative assistance and product functionality, not as legal, financial, medical, or emergency advice. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Valety to:
- violate law or the rights of other people;
- upload malware, spam, or abusive automated traffic;
- reverse engineer or probe the platform in a harmful or unauthorized way;
- misuse AI features to generate unlawful, infringing, or abusive content;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, billing logic, or account restrictions.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Valety available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance, ship updates, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or system health.
10. Intellectual property
The Valety service, including its software, interface, brand elements, and original platform materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of our software or branding to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using Valety at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create legal or security risk, abuse the platform, or if continued service would expose us or our users to harm.
12. Liability and governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valety is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
