1. Contact us first
If you believe a charge was incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or affected by a product issue, contact support@valety.app before opening a chargeback where possible. We can often resolve billing issues faster by reviewing the order directly.
2. Subscription cancellations
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless a different result is required by law or explicitly stated at checkout.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period.
3. Subscription refunds
We may consider a subscription refund if you contact us within 14 days of the charge and the paid plan has not been materially used. Material use may include accessing premium AI features, consuming included credits, generating paid outputs, or otherwise receiving the core paid benefit of the plan.
Once a subscription period has been materially used, we generally do not provide refunds for that period except where required by applicable law.
4. Credit packs
One-time credit packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if the credits are completely unused and no paid feature has been redeemed from that pack.
If any credits from a pack have already been spent, the used portion is not refundable. A partial refund for the unused remainder may be considered at our discretion where the billing and platform records make that practical.
Credits granted as part of a paid subscription are treated as subscription benefits, not as separately cashable balances.
5. Technical failures, duplicate charges, and fraud
We may issue a refund, full or partial, if we confirm a duplicate charge, a verified unauthorized payment, or a technical failure that prevented delivery of the paid feature and could not be reasonably resolved.
6. Provider rules and merchant-of-record flows
Some purchases may be processed by a third-party payment provider or merchant of record. In those cases, the provider may apply its own buyer-protection, dispute, tax, or refund rules in addition to this policy.
If a payment provider reverses a charge or determines that a refund is due, we may revoke the related premium access, subscription status, or granted credits to restore the billing state that would have existed without the payment.
7. Chargebacks
Opening a chargeback instead of contacting support first may delay resolution and can cause immediate loss of premium access, subscription status, or credits associated with the disputed charge while the dispute is under review.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@valety.app with your account email, purchase date, order reference if available, and a short explanation of the issue. We may request additional information to verify entitlement, account activity, and billing history.
